The cards can be displayed in different combinations to increase their 'mojo' The charm refers to the name of the imaginary artists who make the music, and it can also be the name of a 'Santo' who can help you when you call upon it. The cards can be used for divination, although how to do that is not clear yet. There is a lot about these cards that is not understandable. These cards are like seashells that wash up on a beachŠif you pick one up and take it home it becomes special. Fetishes placed near the cards will activate them. What each card does is not always perceptible. The cards do not require batteries. Listening to the tune contained in each card will affect your mind.
