What is Orbscure?


Orbscure goes into the zeitgeist... 

Orbscure is the most ancient and it is the beginning 



The cards can be displayed and also used to conjure 'magic'




The tune that comes with the card can be played on a CD audio device 


They are like the stick of bubble gum that you get in a pack of baseball cards.


The cards can be displayed in different combinations to increase their 'mojo'

The charm refers to the name of the imaginary artists who make the music, and it can also be the name of a 'Santo' who can help you when you call upon it. 

The cards can be used for divination, although how to do that is not clear yet. 


There is a lot about these cards that is not understandable.
These cards are like seashells that wash up on a beachŠif you pick one up and take it home it becomes special.


Fetishes placed near the cards will activate them. 
What each card does is not always perceptible.

The cards do not require batteries. 
Listening to the tune contained in each card will affect your mind.

The cards need your imagination to work
Once complete, Orbscure will contain 33 cards or modules. 

Attached to each card are an icon, an aphorism, a charm, and a tune. 

These cards are handmade by artisans and upon departing from their hands will migrate. 

Leaving a card for someone to find is a playful way to encourage the cardıs migration.

Orbscure is a collection of the artifacts of the past. The universe is an exposed photograph with neither past nor future. But there is NOW. Place the cards in your altar, and see what happens. 


Orbscure is a miniature of the big bang

Orbscure is about making connections. Maybe not the connections you think you want to make, but you never get a busy signal, or an answering machine, the server is never down. You may not know who or what you will connect to: the wires may be crossed. Sometimes you make a connection to your solitude, other times to your community. 

Orbscure is symbols and in these fragments you make a whole, or you see a whole and find its parts. You make a connection. Click. Orbscure is a puzzle, but there are a myriad answers to its riddle. Click. A light bulb goes on. You grab the phone. You call your best friend. You decide to write a song together, or make a movie, or...
